A MEETING MIND AFTERMATH OF PRAVEEN SNEHA MARRIAGE

After our return from the Marriage function of Praveen and Sneha marriage The marriage function after concludes at Bride house it has be winded up in Bridegroom house also instead of leaving at middle. The marriage function started in Bride groom house for invoking our forefathers blessing. Now in the concluding function the blessing of Sumangalis of our forefathers were to be obtained for the NEW GRAHA LAKSMI who entered in the family. This function is called SUMANGALI PRARTHANAI   Sneha ,s father and her all family members were accompanied with us from Bangaloru to chennai by another vehicles to participate in the reception as well in the sumangali prarthanai function. One of relatives of Sneha is the state awardee of good teacher and we are proud of meeting her

                5 sumangalis consists of both the bride and bride groom family were invited and they were honoured and requested them to bless the new couple for their prosperous and happy life. Through their media the the family ancessostors bless the couple This function was held on 27-11-2016 in the morning

      RECEPTION

Sri Balasubramaniam has took the control of reception arrangement . The reception was held in HOTEL SAVERA  where the engagement ceremony was held. DIAMOND Nagaratnam is the organiser from Hotel.Efficient man.  About 250 guests had graced the occasion, Old office people as well as friends of Sugavanam were there. All our relatives also came. The reception started exactly by & PM as per schedule. Both Bride and Bridegroom instead of going directly to their designated place they went around the guests and greeted them A very good gesture.

 The receprtion as well as the relatives departure happened simultaneously.  The reception ended with happy note by 9 PM. The food was good and all cherished well.

As on 28th as bharat bandh was announced Sneha's family execept her father left for Bangaloru in night itself and Reached Bangaloru by 5 AM nextday ie on 28th nov.


THANKS GIVING TO GOD

On 29th Nov after having our lunch we 7 people Maniraj, Sugavanams, Moorthy and myself left for Vaideeswaran Koil Which our prisiding deity by 1.30 PM. and reached Vaideeswaran Koil by 6.30 PM. After occupying the hotel Room we gone to Temple for finalising next day puja. Being the KARTHIK Monday we had fortunte to have dharshan of ARATHI .and after wards we returned and had night tiffin and to rest.

Nextday we were at temple by 6 AM and abhiseham were performed by 6.30 AM and by 9AM we left the temple and had our breakfast and left Vaideeswaran Koil by 10 AM and reached Chennai by 3 PM

In this trip we had very good rapport with Sri Maniraju and we are happy to him personnaly

In thi connection I forget to mention the management of assigned To PADMAJA and MANASA. Manasa has to specially appreciated for her contribution to the sucess of SANGEETHAM and many KOOdos to her and Padmaja for her contribution for extending the warm treatment extend ed to guest is wonderful

 We will be meeting Next year  20017

 

PRAVEEN SNEHA MARRIAGE A ON LOOKER VIEW

On 25th November the marriage of Praveen and Sneha was held at Bangalore, As I had the opportunity to witness the marriage function in close vicinity  I thought of sharing the function with all of you

My journey was started from Delhi on 20 th Nov by flight INDIGO Everybody might be thinking this as boosting Yes you are correct Travel by flight is becoming common The incident which has took place is worth mentioning Hence I mentioned as flight Journey.After on line checking from from house I went to airport to deposit my luggage at the counter Afterwards I proceeded to airport to board. I reached  Chennai by 9.40  and went to collect my bag All others bags have come except me. I informed the airline staff who was monitoring there. She immediately contacted all the people and to Delhi airport. They informed that the bag was despatched in the next flight fortunately started within 1/2 hour. I got the bag in the next flight. The thing and what I suspect is the bag was not loaded and it was forgotten to be loaded and after finding their mistake it was loaded . The reason was the bag was given separately in the baggage counter and it escaped notice of loading staff. We for our convenience get boarding pass from house and suffers

PLANNING

The planning of conducting the marriage functions were discussed in minute details. In this stage the MODI plan was adopted    The senior citizens above age of 70 have been conveniently eliminated including me. They are only honourable advisers without power, Those seniors above 65 are only advisors but their suggestions are welcome. Above 60 no manual work will be entertained.

  Arrival of guest   As PM Modi has made final modification of marriage arrangement  Sugavanams were busy  in making some fine tuning of arrangement Along with Sugavanam I had been to market to procure some of the difficient items which we feel short in the marriage

One of the grand lady of family arrived today. Coimbatore AVVA Another Grand lady already in Chennai  ie My mother

The food department started functioning from today onwards as well as finace department. As there were only works pertains outside The activities were of the house was normal except eating and gosipping

 Today being the Sugavanam 's birthday We had been Kapaliswarar temple and had a good darshan of Karpagambigai as well as Kapaliswarar.

   Today most of the guests had arrived and Final arrangement as well mode of works to be carried out had  been disscussion. Vaideeswaran of Trichy the formal head of the house has arrived by evening I was the guide. The stay arrangement of guests have been effectively organized. All the family members have arrived today
 The next day is being NAANDHI the function dedicated to obtain blessing of our forefathers. the arrangement for the same was finalised. also the erection of marriage Pandal ceremony was to done by 5.45 AM.

 As per programme the ERECTION OF PADHAKAL ie foundation for marriage pandal  was performed with vedic chanting and singing songs by sumangalis of the family at 5.45 AM

By 9.00 AM the Nandhi function was started and it continues for about 2 hrs,  After meals as all the department heads has assembled and made final arrangement  in respect of their assigned works.  Simultaneously the packing of Bridegroom materials as well as function material were done as per list and numbered as per the list prepared  As our bus has to be started by 5.45 AM all are instructed to be ready by 5 AM and all their packages are to numbered by the organizer group.

Departure  of BARAT ie  starting of bridegroom party from place of bridegroom

In this juncture it was wonderful to observe the leadership quality of Anand and the clear instruction given to  his group. The work was minutely planned and executed The allotment of works executed by Sugavanam and Shankar was excellant And in this marriage the planning and discussion,group discussion with time sense was done thro 21st century computers and we are proud of the youngsters of our next generation. They took their responsiblity in a grand manner Not just like my generation where we take responsiblity lightly (God is there He will carry out  mentallity)

The  Bus was very wonderful and gigantic.  We took out seats and the heads were counted recounted and verified . The breakfast and midday meals were already loaded in the bus and snack items also

The bus started with invoking the almighty at 6AM from Abhiramapuram 1st street.  The grand old ladies of the family were accompanying in the car with the able guidance of Rama thirumoorthy and by rotation Rohini

 The first request of stoppage was came from  ShyamSundar to Organiser was to stop bus for few minutes for Newspaper and it was accepted and after an 1/2 hrs the bus stopped for few minutes and necessary procurement were done for making necessary advice to world leaders as well indian leaders and for analysing their works The bus travels through  PORUR, POONDAMALLI, SRIPERUMPUDUR, KANCHIPURAM, VELLORE, AMBUR, VANIYAMPADI, KRISHNAGIRI, HOSUR, BANGALORU,

   SMALL SNACKS WERE SERVED AS APPETISER AND breakfast was distributed ie Iddly packets were distributed at bus No stoppage for breakfast similar to flight mode After about 2hrs journey the bus was halted for coffee break as the food department found that hotel is of world class and announcement was done the bus will stop for 10 mts  But as per Indian tradition we had around 40 mts

After wards we proceeded further and without forgetting our human tradition we were dosed somebody played some songs game. By 12.00 lunch packet were served in the bus afterwards we had short break for easing.    We reached Bangaloru border by  1.30 PM  Our driver drove the vehicle thro city and we encountered many traffic snarls and took about 2hours to cover 20 KM and our function has to start by 3.30 PM  But we able to reach our rest place only by 3.30 PM We have been welcomed by SOWMYA and party with welcome drinks and flowers We changed our clothes and reached Marriage hall by 5 PM

The Balaji Residency  KATHA

The Balaji residency the place where we booked entire rooms in Rajaji Nagar for the bridegroom party is located adjuscent to police commissioner office in the ninth road of                                   . is unique in many ways that I found out in due course, First when we enters in lift and it closes  with the band noise as if marriage party about to leave The lift door closes with bang everytime . NO 2 is the hotel keeper has got very soft corner for the lift. He dont want hurt the lift Whenever a single person used the lift the keeper will switch off the lift power and lift will stop in the middle and even he will not hear the alarm also and he will make slight movement and make the lift to upto some level so that inside person can open the door by hand This was happened tome. When we complain he will tell immediately You see the lift working as if we are at mistake. In this way he will make us use staircase so that his Lovely lift is not disturbed. This has happened when Sugavanam approached for rooms to this Balaji Residency.

Varapuja and Reception

We were welcomed by traditional way at the Marriage pandal entrance and taken to Hall The Varapuja ceremony started at 5.30 PM and completed in record time so as both Bride and Bridegroom are ready for reception.

The relatives were in full attendance  THE reception started 1/2 hour late then prescribed time and by this time we had our evening snacks and coffee
we already booked some more rooms near marriage hall also for guests comfort.as the guests are there to bless the couples by postponing their programmes.

Then afterwards the marriage programmes were as per schedule. The night meals were good to taste to everybody The food were prepared to suit everybody taste. North Indian, Bangalore, south indian light meals like RASAM SAMBAR
I feel tired and hence I want to retire early. so I left the marriage early to go to room. I took auto and dropped nearby balaji residency.

 Iam having the false  notion I know the thing by visiting onetime anyplace and reach back without difficuty. Here tonight Iwent opposite side and balaji residency not found After so many enquiries to Sugavanam I reached the destiny Of course It took 45 mts. I went inside the lift and it happened what I described earliar the affection of lift by Hotel keeper.. I reached the room and took rest.

The Mangla Stanam of Bride and bridegroom ceremony was fixed at 4.30 AM  We woke up by 3 AM
and after our morning rituals went to Marriage hall by 4.30 AM. The bride and bride groom were traditionally brought along with their parents and with 5 sumangalis made ARATHI and asked them to be ready by 6 AM after having Bath etc for the marriage procedure.

The Kasi Yatra symbolising end of BRAMACHARI stage and to get permission from Lord Shiva to enter into marriage stage. At the same time the Bride was seeking permission from Lord Gauri for entering into marriage stage. After getting permission The bridegroom was welcomed to marriage pandal by bride and both were led to place of marriage. By chanting the relevant mantra the bride was allowed to enter bridegroom side and then by Doing required Laksmi puja to mangalyam with help of Bridegroom's sister Mangalyam was tied to bride All the elders present and those whowere unable to attend actual function are all blessed the newly wedded couple for long and Happy life. A two families until now a different were united in this generation

Further function in connection of the marriage were conducted All the guests were provided with wonderful lunch  


 9 months of preparation completed to the satisfaction of all


Bomb blast in the marriage Hall

I went to toilet to ease myself located near dinning hall. In the corner one areted water bottle with moreless full waslying there. Suddenly it burst giving good sound As it was only water filled water sprayed over me some extent. I feared and expect some commotion Nothing happened and Also not informed anybody to avoid unnecessary commotion


We vacated the Marriage hall by 2.30 PM and returned to Balaji residency and had sweet rest for 2HRS,


SANGITHAM

A ggod evening Snacks of Bonda  sweet and coffee along with some snacks were arranged at our stay. The Sangitham cultural programme was performed by local family talents led by SUNDAR and Malavika  Young old family members were participated in a grand way Sri Sudharshan wants to unite all the telugu families and evolved  one programme. On the occassion of marriage SUGAVANAM and Maniraju has adopted village for upgrading their mode of life The dinner was served at 9 PM

As the marriage is over and we were vacating the BALAJI RESIDENCE hotel as predicted by anyhow the lift was made unservisable by the keeper by planning perfect way
 We were struggled to bring our grand ladies of the family thro stairs from 3 rd floor although the hotel agreed to give help he purposely never turnout,

As the bus is unapproachable to hotel lobby went hired small vehicle to transport man material from hotel to bus standing 2 km away, The breakfast and lunch packet were were already received by us by 7 AM , We departed from Bangalore from (9 AM We were expected to reach Chennai by 3 PM As all were tired o we had nice slumber inside bus.

Alas our schedule was hampered by stinginess of driver he wanted to earn money  thro diesel and although the fuel level gone to critical level he was driving vehicle. The vehicle tried it levelbest to help the driver and in course time it has exhusted and stopped in Chennai Border ie at Porur. . The company mechanic came and removed air lock and it proceeded at reach Chennai destination by 7 PM.

Patience exhausted

For three days the guest our marriage will very orderly manner obeyed the instruction given by organisers BUT WHEN REACHED back that gone with the wind Madras water made the effect


KUDOOS TO ALL THE ORGANISERS and EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT BY THE BRANCH HEADS AND ALL THE HELPING HANDS THEIR WORK IS SIMPLY SUPERB.

Saranya Thiagu Marriage

on 23 rd My brother's daughter Saranya marriage has been performed at chennai. As family elder I was present 3 days before. In the marriage to avoid confusion We had our  discussion and we had been alloted specific works and work has been allotted in such way nobody can miss the functions. I had been alloted the financial section, 2 days  before marriage day  My brother handed over to me  2 lakes. I was  trumbled. Such a huge cash I was lost in the thinking. First safety and then easy availablity in needs and minute and careful in handling and disbursement.  The main thing is secrecy and Iam having only one small leather bag and it is possible somewhere it may slip without knowledge and when ever necessary I must have  a companion , this was my line of thinking.

            On 22nd the previous day Marriage day function started by 7 am We arrived the the marriage hall by 6 AM .The designated group were doing their allotted work efficiently The unexpected thing was the Bridegroom party also came well in advance which has overlapped our work.  We had our breakfast and the first prelimanary function of invoking blessing from our forefather's began. It was about 2 hrs function Simultaneously the same type function for bridegroom side commenced. Due to some delay the next programme of lecture began an hour late

     The lecture is about Paramacharya of Kanchi Mutt. Every South Indian Hindu family somehow attached to Paramacharya Of Kanchi Mutt. I was honoured To give an Salvai to  the Lecturer

    Then much awaited Lunch which we have .

     The Morning Session had completed and Of course I had commenced my allotted work also efficiently ( pl dont blame me for my self Praise)

IInd session

    the actual participation of public gathering started from this time and many relatives and friends are started arriving at this time. It was a great occasion in this session the replay of the Engagement ceremony which was held within the closed circle has been performed with the august presence of relatives well wishers and elders of both the family and the bridegroom welcomed by all.and the new couple were introduced to all with their best wishes and blessings.

In this marriage traditional procession of bridegroom was performed after getting blessings from almighty.  The finer point in this procession was Cracker burstng and traditional North Indian marriage dancing before bridegroom.One intresting point is even Bridegroom also joined in the Dancing . It was dancing dancing and dancing till Both the couples occupys the dias.
 Then reception starts and went on till midnight. Out of happiness both the parents of Bride Saranya MOORTHY and Rama  were not eating because they were in such a happymood .


Marriage Day   23-06-2016

   Golden day for SARANYA AND THIAGU

The function Started at 5 AM with blessings of  elderly Ladies and after taking holy bath the Bridegroom  started his homam first time in life for his healthy family life and asking blessings from Almighty SRIMANLAKSHMI NARAYANA AND LORD PARVATHI  SHIVA  By means of Holy fire and symbolic going to Kashi . On return He was welcomed none other than Bride and both were happy for obtaining the blessing of Almighty and elders. That is symbolic cradle welcome.

 Afterwards in the presence of all Thiagu tied the Mangalsutra   To Saranya and both became husband and wife

Afterwards as both Thiagu and Saranya are new there introduced by way traditional method at the time NAGAVALLI.

    The important part is all the close relatives and friends made avideo of themselves and bless the couples

A useful and informative on Kidney

Recently I received ne very useful information in FB. After going thro that I feel that is very good for ourselves and others.

   It was on the subject of  Kidney treatment. Many of us unknowingly taking allopathic medicines even for very little sufferings. Reason they are telling when medicines are there why to we unnecessarily  suffer.  When we are not able to withstand little suffering the result is very big life long suffering. Ok let us come to subject.

        As my friend mentioned  his one of the close Prof was suffering from Kidney trouble. He was discharging only 5% of urine ie 50 ml quantity daily. The reason was he used take  medicine for BP daily The chemical in the medicine affected the Kidney. Daily he was undergoing Peritonis Dialysis 3 times a day.

    He has son who was an executive in computer field and regularly doing the yoga etc. He has studied somewhere that there is traditional treatment for Kidney trouble and discussed with his father.
Father has given consent he was readily undergo the traditional treatment on experiment basis. The father wants to go experiment on himself

   The treatment started Every day he will measure his urinal discharge and kept in record and one in two weeks he will sent his urine for lab test
   The result  his urine discharge has increased from   5% to 80%   He health has improved and the disease is vanished. The urinal discharge became 650 to 700 ml He became alright.

  Now the method of treatment
     This is the simple treatment  and treatment expenditure you can yourself calculate.

      GINGER TREATMANT

    .Materials required
 125 gm ginger,  one mudpot of capacity 3 litres, cloth peices   2 nos  1 plate for covering mud pot,  one mug

     1   Boil the 3 litre water
     2.     125 gm Ginger to be cut small peices
     3.    Grind the ginger peices either by maually or by mixie
     4   The juice of ginger  must be added to boiling water
     5.  Now remaining Ginger  must be  put in a peice of cloth and by folding inside cloth tightly   and put the same in boiling water, close pot with a plate and put the flame in sim mode for 20 to 25 mts

     6. Ask the patient to lie on face down
     7. Take another peice of cloth ,dip it in the boiling water . Try that cloth removing water from the cloth by hand . Place this hand dried cloth on the patients backside at at the starting of thighs till it get cool
  continue the process till pot water gets cool.

     Approximately this process will go for half an hour daily

   THE FOURTH FINGER OF LEG

      In the fourth finger  of leg the nerves of KIDNEY ends. Therefore one must give slight press by hands aroun the fouth finger. This will energise the KIDNEY

FOOD HABITS
 Avoid sodium based foods Add one half the quantity of salt required for food. Instead of salt add Lime juice, black pepper,. If you are under PERTONIS DIALYSIS salt is not a problem

Aviod POTTASIUM POSPHRUS. Whole grain avoid. Instead one can put the vegetables in water for 4 hrs and can be consumed. This can reduce effect of phosperous.

I reached Ahamedabad by 7 PM and passed remaining day time in the hotel.

5-1-2016  Local trip at ahamedabad

  Today trip started at 9.00 Am This time I took an auto to travel as it will be easy to recognise the place. Today trip was to goto famous Jain temple situated at about 68 KM from Ahamedabad city. The name of the temple isJain mahavir temple at MOURI and the priding deity name is GHANTAGAN MAHAVIR, the way passes thro Ghanthi nagar . A temple for Ganthiji is under construction We reached Mouri temple  by 2 hrs . The temple prasadams can be purchased for in ranges from Rs 30 and above  and it will be offered to god and it will be returned back to offerer. The prasadams will not be allowed take outside of the premises. There is  one  dining hall where food is available at Rs 50 per head unlimited one, Pure veg Jain food.On return Journey Mahakali temple is there and repulica of Amarnath temple is also constructed on the way. I reached the hotel by 4 PM
.

6-1-2016  Today I went ATLAJ STEPWELL .This is 5 storied well and having steps to go upto bottom This has built in the year AD 1555 by a King for his Rani bath. 5 stories are visible and further 2 more stories there the driver informed.The wall are beautiful carvings

. There are TRIMANDIR of Swami Narayan sect, Balaji Temple, ISCON temple Swami Narayan temple at Ghanthi Nagar.

Left Ahamedabad by 5.40 PM and reached Delhi?Gurgaon by 7 AM on   7-1-2016

Adani is building very big housing complex. Multi storied buildings.

In general Ahamedabad roads are Jam packed. No body including stat buses not following the rule og road.Very conjusted. The Sabarmathi River inside the city is well regulated It is the fine outings for people Gandhi nagar is well protected and police bis very strict and fully controlled by CCTV and police not corrupted.

SOMNATH Part 4

SOMNATH  TEMPLE

I reached Somnath by 3PM and occupied the room. The rooms are well maintained andthe rates are reasonable. The dining hall fecilities available. There are several hotels and caterings are there. The temple opens upto 9 PM . After refreshing I went to Temple at 5PM which 10 mts walk and after usual secruties went inside There was no rush. THE SHIVA LINGA WAS WELL DECORATED. The temple is located just adjustant to Arabian sea.  After Dharshanam I sat at sea shore ie near compound wall. sitting arrangement ie cement benches are provided by the temple authority. I witness the sunsetting in ARABIAN SEA.

     At 8 PM there was LIGHT AND SOUND show on history of Temple It was one hour At 9 PM came back to Room and had dinner in the dining hall. Food was unlimited for 50 rupees.

   4-1-2016

      The somnath temple was destroyed by invasion about 5 to 6 times Each time it iwas reconstructed. To avoid further destruction the original lingam was shifted from the temple and it was installed about 200 feet away in underground and over the above a republica lingam was installed and in Somnath temple also one lingam was established. The abhisekam and regular puja done oroginal lingam in the morning. The priest I had contacted told me to come to old temple by 6 AM . I went old temple and had a Dharshan of Lingam It is a big lingam. We can perform Ganga jal abhisekham by our own hands. After having Dharshan I came back to room by 7 AM . My train to Ahamedabad starts from Somnath Station by 9.30 AM, I vacated room by 8 AM and reached station by 8.30 AM for my onward journey  The train starts at 9,30 AM and reached ahamedabad by 6.45 PM

DWARAKA --SOMNATH YATRA Part 3

3-1-2016

My Somnath Yatra starts from Dwaraka by 8 AM on 3-1-2016 by Hired Taxi.The distance around 250 KM approx.

Dwaraka and Somnath are on the Arabian sea shore. The journey was along the sea shore . The entire sea shore area is producing electricity by wind through by installing gig Fans.
 Harsha Dhayi Temple

  This devi is said to be KULADEVATHA of Krishna  This place is around 40 KM from Dwaraka. We reached this place by 9 AM The temple opens at 9 Am with Arathi . I witnessed the Arathi . The beating of Drums make us clapping our hands automatically A beautiful rhytham. After 1/2 hour our journey commences

MOOL DWARAKA

    This is place where Krishna after war with KAMSA while returning to Dwaraka took rest for sometime One shiva linga was established here
Our journey continues and the next stop was PORBHANDAR The birth place of Mahatma Gandhiji.
We reached here around 10.30 AM.

 This is midst of market area and the building is maintained without any modification except front side for benefit of visitors. Even the plastering is also not done inside. A place to see every Indian as mark of gratitude

VERAVEL

Veravel is twin city of Somnath.  Export of sea fishes is being regulated from this place. Several huge godowns are situated here for proper storing of fishes arriving from places.

   In this place The arrowman has aimed Krishna legs while he was resting on the tree. That place is now worshipping place A temple is being constructed. A huge Shiva linga is there

AN INCIDENT TO REMEMBER

    I want to take photo of this place and hence I took the camera from the hand bag and took snaps. I took the snaps from the compound wall area of the temple. The distance from the Idol to compound wall is hardly 20 feet only and after taking snaps  and bowed the god from there itself and proceeded to taxi for further journey to somnath which is about 7 to 8 Km and reached Somnath trust Guest house for rooms. For showing I card  opened bag for purse. The purse was not found. I searched everywhere and in taxi also. It was not there. I told to taxi driver my loss of purse. after recollecting all the incidents I was sure the purse might be fallen while taking camera from the bag. The taxi driver immediately took me back to VERAVEL temple in 10 mts ride. I searched entire place No fruitful,   The driver suggested to go to priest and enquire. I went near the idol where priest was sitting and enquired Negative. I came  back thinking of further mode of action. When I came down from the platform of temple KRISHNA came  in human being and asked whether your purse and handed over purse and he refused to any money from me. This was the game Krishna played for not going near his idol

I reached Somnath by 3PM and booked room for oneday in the Somnath Mandir Trust guest house

    DWARAKADEESH  TEMPLE

    On 2-1-2016  After having the dharshan of Bet Dwaraka The time was 1-30 PM I had the lunch and had a rest for 3 hrs. the temple opens at 5 PM . I went to temple after having tea etc . the distance  is walkable distance only. there is separate counters for camera Cell phone and shoes. Free of charge.

  Secrutiny clearence is there. There is not much people. I entered the temple and had a eyeful dharshan of Lord Krishna What I can not able to describe in words My eyes refuse to move away from Krishna  I was  seeing   seeing seeing -------------------

                More than 1/2 hour I was in front of Krishna and more than one hour I  was in temple.


3-1-2016

   In the morning 6 AM the temple opens. I went to temple in the morning 6 AM and I had fortunate to see the ARATHI of Krishna and after one hour I came back to hotel room and had a slight breakfast and vacated the room by 8 AM for the onward journey to Somnath

DWARAKA AND SOMNATH

With the blessings of Fore fathers and well wishers I had fortunate to visit the Holiest places in India. Last week ie on the last day of old year 2015 I started my journey towards Dwaraka and Somnath by Train from Delhi and Reached Ahamedabad on 1-1-2016 morning   9.30 AM.

      DWARAKA

    There is regular bus service from Ahamedabad  ( In Somnath temple voucher the city has been mentioned as AMEDABAD) from 10 pm.  and reaches Dwaraka by 7.15 AM. Many buses are flyingduring that time. Bus tickets can be booked by internet ).As my bus to Dwaraka starts at 10 PM I took a room in a hotel.   The journey upto Amedabad  was normal in all respects. Rajdhani express supplied food as per terms and condition.

    The bus to Dwaraka was a sleeper bus. On experiencing day weather  I had feeling the night will be pleasent. Man proposes and God disposes. With one half sweater I was shivering The bus is not provided  Kambal to protect from cold Any how I  bravely  with stood the cold ( there is no alternative than boosting like this).  The bus reached Jam nagar 3 AM. I took hot tea. The bus was stopped there for about one hour. Most of the passengers got down here. The bus driver and conductor waiting for local passengers.After one hour the resumed the journeyand reached Dwaraka by 7.15 AM. The sun rise is about 7 am. The reason for stopping for an hour I understood.

The bus stop is near temple.The city Dwaraka is surrounding the temple only. I took a hotel room then and there itself. On enquiry it has been found that the local trip around Dwaraka done in 2 times.First trip at 8.00 AM and the second one at 2.00 PM. As Iwas having some 20 mts time I got myself ready by 10 minutes and at 8.00 Am the lacal bus started.

Rukmini Temple
  One time Rishi  Durvasa came to see Krishna afterwards he wanted to somewhere. Krishna offered Chariot. But Rishi Durvasa told he dont want chariot driven by animals. Krishna along with Rukmini dragged the chariot. On the way rukmini felt immense thirst. Krishna brought ganga water by his power and gave to Rukmini. She drank the water without getting permission from Rishi. Rishi got angry and cursed Rukmini that Rukmini will be away from Krishna for 12 years. Rukmini left Dwaraka and lived in the forest . This was the place where Rukmini stayed This called Rukmini Temple.  Pilgrims give donations for feeding water here. Water is being served to pilgrims here

Nageswar Temple

   Our next stop was Nageswar Temple. This one of the Jyothir Lingam. Ther are 12 Jyothir lingam in India. One very big Shiva statue  is installed in front of temple.

Gopi Talab

    When Gopis were taking bath inside the pond without clothes to teach them the lessons to them Krishna has took away clothes and hide This is place where this has been held.  ( Vastra Apagaranam) The authorities not maintaining properly and the tank is looks dirty although thousands are visiting daily

Bet Dwaraka

Our next stop was BET DWARAKA

 On the way we saw the a very big factory of TATA salt manufacturing Salt. There are heaps / mountains of Raw salt outside.
 We reached Bet dwaraka. On the way very big fish godowns, Fishes captured by fisherman is being stored here
        Bet Dwaraka is in the middle of sea around  1 Km from the shore. Regular and frequent boat services are there .They charging Rs 10 per head.The journey took half an hour one way.

Bet Dwaraka In this place of Krishna Palace Bramin Sudhama alias Kusela  was received by Krishna and entire family was blessed.
  The temple is located around 1KM from shore. Auto  (shared) are available Rs 10 per head) In this place both Hindus and Muslims are living together. Muslims are boat drivers and fisherman .
No cellophone ,camera allowed Cloak room available Charges Rs 2 per article. After dharshan we made the return journey and reached bus and reached Dwaraka by 1.15 PM.
